Project Resources for Facet Modes
Facet 1.0.29 adds Project Resources to Modes. Save up to 12 websites, files, or folders with an editable Mode, find and open them from one list, and optionally include them in its Launch Set.
Start apps, then open project resources
Include selected resources in a Mode’s Launch Set. When you explicitly start the set, Facet opens its selected apps first, then its websites, files, and folders.
Changing Modes only changes the view
Switching Modes or choosing Open Mode only changes what Facet shows. Neither action opens apps or project resources.
Keep the compact launcher familiar
The classic compact app grid stays in place. When a Mode has saved resources, an explicit Apps / Project Resources control switches between the two views. If a file or folder moves, repair or reselect it.

Facet Free and Facet Pro
Project Resources, Launch Sets, and per-Mode Pro shortcuts require active Facet Pro or a valid in-app trial. Facet Free keeps the fullscreen launcher and its global toggle shortcut. Launch Sets for Facet Modes
Facet 1.0.28 adds Launch Sets and Mode shortcuts. Open a Mode to see its apps; Start Launch Set opens your selected apps.
Configure a Mode, then start it when you choose
In Mode settings, choose Configure Launch Set… and select up to 12 apps. Choose Start Launch Set to open them. Facet does not restart apps that are already running; if the final app is ready, it is brought to the front.
Find the two Mode shortcuts in Settings
Open Mode: shows the selected Mode’s apps. Start Launch Set opens the selected apps. Configuring and using both shortcuts requires active Pro, including during the optional in-app trial.
Switching Modes never starts apps
Selecting a Mode changes only the apps Facet shows. Apps open only when you explicitly start the Launch Set.
Your setup stays saved
Launch Set configuration remains on your Mac if Pro access expires. Starting a Launch Set and using its Pro shortcuts pause until Pro is active again.
Facet Free and Facet Pro
Facet Free keeps the fullscreen launcher and its existing global toggle shortcut. Configuring or starting a Launch Set, and using Open Mode: or Start Launch Set for a Mode, require active Pro. Project Resources and Modes
How many resources can a Mode save?
Each editable Mode can save up to 12 websites, files, or folders. Search the shared list and open an item individually.
Does switching Modes or choosing Open Mode open anything?
No. Both actions only change the Facet view. Start Launch Set explicitly to open selected apps first, then selected project resources.
What happens if a saved file or folder moves?
Repair the saved resource or select it again from its new location.
How does Project Resources work in compact mode?
The classic compact app view remains. When a Mode has saved resources, use the explicit Apps / Project Resources control to switch views.
Which features require Pro?

Can I edit the default Modes?
